This 13-page guide is an educational and self-reflective tool to help you recognize, understand, and ultimately, befriend your emotions. Our emotions are messengers and learning to pay attention to them with curiosity and openness leads to better mental health, increased emotional intelligence, and deepened self-awareness. This guide is for ANYONE - therapists, people in therapy, people who are hesitant to go to therapy, teachers, parents - really, anyone, who is looking to invest in their emotional well-being.
The first part of the guide covers why we struggle to make sense of our emotions and offers a paradigm shift away from judgment and avoidance and towards curiosity and compassion. The second part of the guide covers common emotions (see more details below) and offers questions for reflection as well as coping skills.
